To determine the operating cost of ANY electrical appliance,
take the rated wattage and divide it by 1000. This gives you Kilowatt hours.
Then check your electric bill to find out how much you pay per Kilowatt hour.
[Example: 8.5¢ per Kilowatt hour on a 1320 watt appliance:
1320/1000 = 1.32 Kilowatt hours
1.32 x 8.5¢ = 11.22¢ per hour] |
